Bali- Into the fun

Joke of the day.

Tiger Woods drives his BMW into a petrol station in a remote part of the Irish countryside. The pump attendant, obviously knows nothing about golf, greets him in a typical Irish manner completely unaware of who the golfing pro is.

"Top of the mornin' to yer, sir" says the attendant.

Tiger nods a quick "hello" and bends forward to pick up the nozzle. As he does so, two tees fall out of his shirt pocket onto the ground. "What are those?, asks the attendant.

"They're called tees" replies Tiger. "Well, what on the god's earth are dey for?" inquires the Irishman. "They're for resting my balls on when I'm driving", says Tiger.

"Fuck me", says the Irishman, "BMW thinks of everything."

***********************************************************************************
Picking up from where i last left you guys, which is on the hotel. Wow, Superb. Ok, so basically, 2 days of my trip we devoted to sight seeing and visiting new places.

As so, Bali is popular for its volcanoes, rice terraces and beachside views. Temples are aplenty, and who will see them in my post here.

To kick it off, Bali has a popularity of 85% Hindu, and thus, them many temples and availability of pork everywhere. All these cultural places have been preserved nicely, and turned into tourists attractions.

The first place, we visited was the Silverware Factory. Bali is popular for its gold and silver shoppes, and yes we were brought into one. Although the main idea was to get you to purchase items from them, so the bus drivers could earn comission, it would be wise to buy only what you like. (after bargaining, to almost a 70% reduction)

The welcoming statue, in front of the silverware factory.

Crafting the silverware.

The variety of bangles and bracelets.

A ring my mum liked. In the end, she setteled for a garnet ring. Quite a bargain, costed only about RM 100, for a shiny gemstone.

Next, we stopped over at a woodcarving factory.

Entrance to the woodcarving factory.

Carving of a sexayy lady.

And her titties. Sadly, the're not that juicy !!

Omg, wooden dicks. Hmm.. any of you girls want it? (-.-)

Alright, enough of dicks and boobies, lets go on to the next stop. Volcanoes. Simply fantastic. We we brought to the top of the hill, it was chilly, ambience was great, and lastly, view was fantastic.

Great isn't it?

In the morning, there will be smoke emitting from the top.

The earth in the pic (black areas) are effects of the lava. Bes, they call it. Very suitable for growing plants.

The restaurant overlooking the volcano.

Next up on our itenary, was an ancient temple, which had spring water freeflowing. Have a look.

Oh yeah, b4 that, to those who are having their periods, sorry, but you are strongly discouraged from entering. I din't know why until i went it....

Nah....tak boleh masuk....

A statue, posing.

The ponds inside were gorgoeus.

It is said by the locals, that if you take a dip and wash ur head on the spring water pond, good luck will befall you. That explains why so many ppl are into washing their heads.

Hence, the long waiting queue.

Besides being period free, we had to wear sarongs to enter. Look at us !!

Me and my bro.

Random shots of the area.......

The rooftops looked like they were made out of hair.

Filled with spring water, in was blueish in colour.

After all the mumbo-jumbo, we were hungry and thirsty. Where else, but sunset@jimbaran.
Dining by the beach, with the waves breaking each silence.....

The ambience......

We had to snuggle it, to the almost packed crowd.

Coke in a bottle....where to find man?

Diggin in to the seafood. We ordered, crabs, prawns, mussels, fish and squid.

The crabs had creamy roe. Fantastic...

Overall, the food was great. But the bill was a great let down. The meal costed us 1.2 Million Rupiah, which is rougly Rm 550 . Helluva expensive man.

That it for day two, more to come up later. Next post would be on the nightlife, Hard Rock Cafe, and many more. Stay tuned !!

Bali- It would be ( The Introduction )

I was supposed to continue writing about my previous post, but oh well, since everyone wants me to write about bali first, so be it lah.

Bali, what can i say? A paradise of fun, shoppin's great and nice scenery. Weather, hot like KL, at some places even hotter. Beaches? Fantastic... The waves are great, went surfing there, not like i can surf very well, but just bantai and play only la.

To start it off, my bloody flight was delayed 3 FUCKING HOURS. No joke. Thank god the airline company, Air Asia had the brains to SMS us b4 we left for the airport. So, yeah, we did not get stuck at the airport.

The LCCT Terminal is really, really LOW COST. Everything is designed to be cheap, until that you have to walk to the airplane. No aerobridges, and when it is raining, you gotta use ur umbrella to get to the plane. The plane, what can i say? Althought leather seats were definately a plus point, but it was abit crammed, thank god i am not fat. Haha.

Bali : DAY ONE

All packed, and ready to go. Yes, that is my ever famous gotta use them disposable undies.

We had Mc D's b4 entering the plane. The Mc D's meal at the airport was more expensive. Damnit.

LCCT's check in counter.

All of my baby cousin brothers/ sisters which tagged along for the trip. The lady in the middle is my aunt.

We were all digging into Mc D's before the flight.

After what seemed like eternity, we boarded the plane. My whole family had priority seatings, because we had 4 toddlers tagging along. So, we got the front seats.

The bunch of us. Spot the 2 babies at the corner, with their mom, dad and granny.

After the safety briefing, off we went ! To Bali !! The flight took almost 2 3/4hours.

It was a night flight, so we reached there, it was about 20 mins past midnight. No action for the first night, immedieately crashed out on the hotel bed and slept.

BALI: DAY TWO

The hotel is SUPERB. The decor was 100% balinese, the rooms were traditional and the service was great. The minute we set foot at the hotel, the staff greeted us, we were showered with welcome cocktails and everything just went well. Have a look at the pictures.

Very balinese. These are the rooms, one by one, with a balcony.

The sunken pool bar. Swimming pool was great!!

And to sum it up for this post, b4 i continue, here the last pic for the post.

Me, and the rooms in the background.

Next post, will be on the places of attraction, the nightlife, clubs, and food.

Till then, see ya !

almost, but not yet

The stress is almost over, but not fully gone yet. part 2: exam results...hohoho, what's bad about internal f6 exam is, the results return very fast, i.e: the following week or so, that's why things are a hell lot scary when the real deal comes out.

Ok, on another note, since exams are over, let's blog about my holidays, upcoming holidays....Bali.

In excatly 5 days, i will be leaving for Bali, finally, a well deserved break from the stressful life in Petaling Jaya. Nevertheless, there will be no haze there, hopefully, and it's time to rest and relax.

Bali is mainly famous for only a few things, great spa's, happening nightlife, carefree culture, shopping and most ultimately an island with great scenerary.

The flight from Kuala Lumpur takes about 3 hours+ to reach. In distance, it is about 2,200 kilometres away from KL. Timewise, Bali is +2 hours ahead of Kuala Lumpur.

The hotel which my parents booked for my relatives and all will be in Kuta, The Heart of Bali. A place where nightspots do not have a limit to when to close, shopping is god-like, surfing is also a pastime and spa's are apently. Nevertheless, it is also packed with "guai lo's", so there is a bomb attack risk. Scary, but yeah, we're on holiday now. P/s: Hope nothing bad happens there la....

Scenery is great. There are alot of other interesting places there, but wait till i come back to show you my photos.

I will be taking a room with my brother, and my parents will have another rooms. A simple, balinese inspired design hotel, had been chosen.

The swimming pool area of my hotel.

The lobby frontage.

My room, which i will be sharing with my bro....

The room's a villa, so yeah, tht's the garden....

That's all i can share about Bali on this time. More to come when i return, next week. Till then, Happy Deepavali and Happy Hari Raya Puasa......

euro fun park@ one utama

I have been to this fair last year. Unfortunately, because of SPM, i have to leave early, so basically, i managed to sit only the best 2 rides, and it was in a rush. Dam potong. But thank god.....

They returned AGAIN this year. A blessing I said to myself. Right after my exam (what great timing yeah) i planned to visit it IN FULL FORCE. And so, finally here we are. I called along Patrick and Quin, Callie and a bunch of 5 girls. When we were at OU, we met Brendda and Kidd and invited them to join. Tambah lagi, in the fun fair, i met back my own schoolmates, namely King Wei and his gf....and u get the picture la....alot of ppl was having fun there.

I could safely say that i was going high and my heart was going to explode when i spotted the theme park with its wonderous lights.

Ok, but b4 that, we were at OU, armed with 2 camera's. Mine ( a slim kodak V530 pocket series) and Patrick's ( Canon S2 Professional Series) camera. Of course his picture quality was great, but great pictures rarely come with a slim size camera. His was a size of the normal SLR cam.

Great thanks to quin for taking some of the shots, here goes.

At Ou first. They were having some hari raya decor, so we decided to cam-whore.....

Trying to get a look at the congkak marbles ( in this case, they used sepak takraw balls)

The Whole Set.

We saw this dude drawin a batik, a demonstration.

Ok, those are the last of the OU pictures. Enough of them, now on the the main topic, the focus and the spotlight. Euro fun park !!

When i saw the light and the music, i started steaming already. Hahaaa, ok, now literally steaming, but i was dam excited. Fucking excited i mean.

Entrance fee is Rm 3 for adults and Rm 2 for kids. Mind you, entrance only ok.... The rides were expensive..but yeah, for the fun, it's really worth it.

First Ride : The Challenger

As i have said before, this ride is the most thrilling, and one of the top rides in the theme park. This time, there's a video to it, so i don not have to explain how it swings, gyrates and turns. One thing tho, this is not for the weak heart. Non stop "heart dropping" feeling, and if it's your first time on it, be prepared to scream. Till date, i have sat on it 3 times liao..Hahahaa

It has a seating capacity of 24 people. (4 riders per arm, 6 arms in total). The safety harnesses were comfortable, and you actually do not really need to grab on tightly those bars, as this ride swings you up AGAINST gravity. That means that you will be pushed back into your seats, and no worries, you body will not smash against the safety harnesses.

Me and my friend patrick, b4 going up on the ride.

Group photo b4 ALL of us went up. All of them are either my schoolmates or classmates.

We still had time to cam-whore b4 we were strapped to the seats.

When the harnesses were locked, the ride kicked off. Wheee...Shiokkk

Whooosshh, it swung at a tremendous speed.

It got faster and faster, and before we knew it......

We were swung up more than 90 degress in the air..........
Yep it was a full load, try spotting me in there.

It was the most orgasmic experience ever. EVER. Seriously....
Now, here's the video of it swinging..........

Ride Two : The Vortex.

Call this ride the Vertical Limit. Seriously. It was very high up, but when you combine height with speed, you get nothing but absolute fun. Seriously. ABSOLUTE FUN. 8 rides can go an one time, 4 at each end. The carriage is swinging freely, while the arm turn 360 degress. The results, you come down to the group UPSIDE DOWN, and you blast back into space facing up.

As you can see, 2 carriages at both ends. The whole arm swings 360 non stop. Round and round, like a wheel.

The seating capacity.

We were strpped on tightly....anddddddddd

The ride blasted offf.......

Here the video of it rotating....I was in there, with my friend, screaming out our lungs. To enhance the experience, they had bring camera flashes flashing you when you were up there in the air....The spotlight were also tremendous. Bright and colourful... try to catch the flashing lights when the carriage is at it's highest peak. Hohoho..did it tell you, it rotated DAMMMM FASTT....

The other parts of the fun fair.

These 2 rides above are the main highlights of the fair, and of course the most expensive. To List down there are many other great rides. Here you go, happy viewing....

The wild mouse rollercoaster. The cars could spin 360, in any direction !!

Minaiture hot air ballons. These were the kiddy rides....

The spinner ride, same as the one in Genting.

Damn, the bear was huge. But according to Mae, cannot win wan. All the lucky tickets cheat ppl wan. Hahah....

Callie's friends on Lethal Weapon.

I went up with them on the ride.

Here's how they screamed on the ride. I was holding on tightly to the camera, afraid that it will get flung out.

Now, on to the group pictures....

Callie and her frens from Tmn Sea. Really a fun and sporting bunch.

L-R: Me, Wai Kidd, Brenda, Quin and Patrick.

I really have no regrets coming to this fun fair. I really enjoyed myself, as you can see in the pictures, same goes for all my friends. So next year....there might be another visit. Who'se up for it??

By the time i reached home, i was tired, yet hyped up from the rides. A day filled with screams, excitement and joy. Loved it.

Thanks to Patrick for the photos, and yes, thank you everybody for the company.

Next, i will be going to Bali, on the Monday after next, This time, with my relatives, cousins and family. Damn, i love my life.

A briefing on the Bali trip, on my next post.

a sneek peek

i just came back from the euro fun park @ OU.
wow....great!

will post pictures about it later....stay tuned....

here's a sneek peek..............

Thrilling as hell.

One of the best rides, challenger.

let me define shit

Yes, That's it. My PA (General Paper a.k.a Pengajian Am) Paper 2 is done. I know most of you all are clueless to this dumb subject so allow me to explain why it's like SHIT.

General Paper is actually a combination of a few subject elements. This include Modern Maths (quite simple becuz most of us do add m3 b4), Geography, General Knowledge, History, Bahasa Malaysia and ultimately Kindergarden Colouring. Why Kindergarden Colouring? Simple. Because we have to plot bar graphs, and after that, we have to present it nicely, and we will have to colour every single bar. That part sucks alright. We will have very little time to colour, and often, we end up colouring even WORSE than Kindergarden Kids. I have proof if u all wanna see.

So, there are 2 papers.
Paper One (60 Objective Questions) 2 Hours to complete.
The objective questions are based as follows.
15 General Knowledge Questions. This SUCK BIG TIME. Because it can vary from the hell to heaven OK? They can be so random until they can ask... like, Why the fuck did Malaysia debated with Singapore for the Pulau Batu Puteh? That's how random it is.

30 History Related questions. Ahh..this part is much better, because there is a set sylabbus to study. Just read up the notes, and u should not have any problems with it. Furthermore, it's all Malaysian History, urmm..Sistem Pentadbiran and Kehakiman Malaysia etc...... Which i admit, is my favourite part of history. Don't give me that look ok? Why i like it, because it is shit easy mah. Simple.

15 Oh-I-Think-You-Are-Damn-Stupid-If-You-Cannot-Answer Questions.
This should be easy shit for science and maths students. Let me give you a sample question. Here goes....If a person take a 1 year loan of RM 10,000 with an interest rate of 2.1%, how much does he need to pay every month. Don't believe your eyes...? Yes, it is that damn easy.

That's all for paper one. Overall it's OK-Lah. You Must be thinking, if paper one is ok, why am i bitching so much. Simple. That's because i have not revealed paper 2.

Paper 2- The Paper where the shit, stress and gory begins.
5 Sections, A,B,C,D,E. 3 hours to complete (actually, 3 hours is not really enough, because there are hell alot of stuff to answer)

In section A, you will have to write an essay. Two questions, choose one. In section A, the topic given for the essay is arts related. For example, they will ask you gejala sosial problems, business related topics and law. You will have no choice, but to crap out an essay.

Hey, they are still not done with the essays alright. In Section B, you will have to write ANOTHER ESSAY this time covering science related topics. This means the question might vary from health and medicine, DNA, and practically whatever is related to the science field.

Wait, they are still not done torturing you. In section C, there will be 4 General Articles ( 2 Science Articles and 2 Arts Articles). You will have to choose 2 Articles and answer 2 questions that come with the article. Your answer length should hit about 50 words per response. In total, you will have to answer 4 questions, and it is not easy. The information that you need WILL NOT BE GIVEN in the article, the article is just to start the topic off. All answers must come FROM THE BRAIN.

In section D, you will have to use your colouring skills. They will provide an article, with percentage values from year to year, and you must convert it into a graph. Here, you will require simple calculation, but how simple it is, "When something can go wrong , IT WILL GO WRONG ". This takes time, to slowly plot out and actually define the article. One small slip up, i.e as in you choose the wrong graph to present your work, and you will lose ALL POSSIBLE MARKS FOR YOUR GRAPH. That is why there is alot of pressure when you are plotting this graph. Hellish as it may sound, it is a compulsory question that all candidates will have to answer.

Finally, in section E, which is yes the last part of hell you might say, is also not simple. The crappiest part, that is because you will have to do an ULASAN JADUAL. Fucking stupid ok. The bloody ulasan, may take up to about 250+ words if you are a heavy writer. To ulas the jadual, you will have to make some calculations first, as in the overall percentage, the overall average and give comments on the rising and declining values. When we reach this section, usually there is NO TIME LEFT, our hand are SWEATY AND WE CANNOT PRESS THE CALCULATOR BUTTONS PROPERLY, and our BRAIN IS USUALLY OVERHEATED. The result, we churn out shitrolls for the teacher to mark =) .

The total marks for paper 2 is 100. Section A (25), Section B (25) Section C (10+10) Section D (15) and lastly section E (15). That comes up to the GRAND TOTAL OF 100.

People always ask me, what happens when you mix shit piles together. The answer, GENERAL PAPER !!!
